Hypochlorous Acid: natural germs killer

Do you know that hypochlorous acid (HOCl). it's in your body right now fighting with pathogens! HOCl is a naturally occurring substance that helps fight off infections. In the bloodstream and tissues, HOCl is produced in abundance by neutrophils, eosinophils, mononuclear phagocytes, and B lymphocytes and plays an important role in phagocytosis, destroying invading pathogens. HOCl has broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity and is able to kill microorganisms very rapidly.

While it is strong enough to destroy dangerous organisms, HOCI is gentle and does not harm other cells.

HOCl is a nontoxic, noncorrosive, and well-studied disinfecting compound.

It is eye-friendly, skin-friendly, inhalable, and ingestible. Unlike bleach, it does not damage clothing or furniture. It doesn't require a face mask, eye protection, and gloves. It can be used on cell phones, computer screens, and keyboards.

HOCL AS DISINFECTANT

It is the world's oldest disinfectant. Hypochlorous acid is discovered in 1834 as a chemical with disinfectant properties. Chemists discovered an easy way to obtain HOCL by electrolysis of salt water solution.

The germicidal properties of HOCl have been extensively studied and well-reported. HOCl has broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity and is able to kill microorganisms very rapidly.

It exhibits activity against a wide variety of gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria, yeast, and fungal pathogens. HOCl attacks invading pathogens, breaking down the cell walls before destroying unhealthy invaders.

According to publications, HOCl is being 100x more powerful than bleach when fighting bacteria.

HOCL has been deployed in many industries, from hospitals and operating rooms to daycare centers, spas, restaurants, pools, and farms.

HOCl as a disinfectant and sanitizer is nontoxic to surface contact, noncorrosive, with a broad range of bactericidal and virucidal effects, safe, easy to use, and relatively inexpensive. Highly effective in sterilizing non-autoclavable medical instruments.

Benefits for skin

Hypochlorous acid is highly safe and skin-friendly.

· It is excellent for sensitive skin

· Fight bacteria that causes clogged pores and acne

· Effective in wound healing and infection

· Gentile with skin, no irritation and dryness

· Do not irritate the eyes

· Reduces inflammation in case of eczema and psoriasis.

HOCl IN MEDICAL CARE FACILITIES

The use of HOCl in medicine is growing and entered a new phase. In the last two decades, hundreds of reports have appeared describing the use of HOCl for disinfection in hospitals, dental offices, and extended-care facilities.

This agent is used for applications in wound care, the naso-pharyngeal infection, and mouthwash. Many studies clearly show its high potential for peri-operative antisepsis, wound care, and more recently, for nasopharyngeal sprays and inhalation procedures. Wound-care procedures using HOCl are already in medical practice. HOCl solution is effective against oral pathogens. In dental offices, it is used for surface disinfection, cleaning instruments, spray, and mouthwash and mouth irrigation.
